Research prototype · no warnings are actually sent
Every monsoon, Bangladesh's rivers swallow homes and farmland. This tool predicts where, before it happens.
An AI model reads decades of satellite images and marks each 240 m stretch of riverbank by how likely it is to be lost this monsoon, so families and officials know where to act first.

Did it work? A past forecast next to what really happened
The forecast was made in March, before the monsoon, by a model that had never seen that year.

Three steps, every year
- March, before the rainsPredict
The AI studies the dry-season satellite picture: how close the channel is, whether it is moving in, and where land was lost before. Each stretch of bank gets a risk score.
- Every 12 days in the monsoonConfirm
Clouds hide the ground all monsoon, but radar sees through them. A second AI model checks where bank is actually turning into river.
- When both agreeWarn
People living on a high-alert stretch would get a Bangla SMS or voice call, and local officials a map. In this prototype nothing is sent.
